3rd Sustainment Brigade

We are the Providers of the 3rd Infantry Division. We are a team consisting of Soldiers, Families and Civilians of various backgrounds, skill levels and experiences working together to complete any mission our country asks of us. We are located at Fort Stewart, Georgia in the Costal Georgia area. Fort Stewart is a remarkable Army Post, recipient of the 2015 Commander in Chief’s Annual Award for Installation Excellence. We are only minutes from historic Savannah as well as a short drive from Jacksonville, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina. There are numerous beaches close by that offer the relief from the summer sun but rest assured our hot summers are balanced by our mild winters. This is a fantastic place to be!
Our primary mission is to support and sustain the Warfighter. Since the beginning 3rd ID Sustainment Brigade has been providing the 3rd Infantry Division with the logistical lifeblood vital for victory. The 3rd IDSB is a unique brigade consisting of more than 99 military occupational specialties. The Brigade’s Headquarters just recently returned from a deployment in support of Operation Spartan Shield. That what their sixth deployment in the last eleven years. While overseas, they had Soldiers spread across nine countries, opened the Iraq Theater in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and provided theater distribution and expeditionary sustainment across JSA-Georgia in support of CENTCOM. Now that we have returned, we are preparing for the future, whatever the mission we receive we will be ready.
Families are a vital component to the success of the Provider Brigade. Life in the military is not easy and we strongly encourage our families to support us by being involved with the unit and building relationships with other family members. We keep our families informed not only through the family readiness groups, but also an interactive Facebook page that is accessible to everyone.
