Problems accessing EBIS
Please Note: There is an issue with the Employee Benefits Information System (EBIS) website where employees cannot access EBIS from any network other than a .mil network. This includes employees attempting to access EBIS from home or from a .gov or .edu network. We are currently working this issue and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

In the near future, you will be able to use your EDIPI instead of your Social Security Number whenever you call into the Army Benefits Center – Civilian. What is your EDIPI? EDIPI stands for Electronic Data Interchange Personal Identifier (also known as a DoD ID number) and is a unique 10-digit number that is associated with DOD personnel. What is EBIS?
EBIS is an automated, secure, self-service web application that allows employees to review general and personal benefits information, and allows you to calculate your own retirement estimates. EBIS also allows you to make benefits elections for Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB), Federal Employees Group Life Insurance (FEGLI), and the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP).
Did you know?
You can only access EBIS if you are logged in with your Common Access Card (CAC). You must also have your Social Security number and EBIS PIN. This is to help protect your Personally Identifiable Information (PII)!

What is EBATS?
EBATS allows you the opportunity to see the status of your action(s) that are being processed by the Army Benefits Center - Civilian (ABC-C). After logging into EBATS, you will be able to see a summary of your current benefits, and any open/closed benefit action received at the ABC-C such as military/civilian deposits or redeposits, retirement and retirement estimates.
Please note: EBATS can only be accessed by logging into your computer with your Common Access Card (CAC) while on a .mil network.
