CAMP ATTERBURY, Ind. – The 157th Infantry Brigade, First Army Division East stationed at Camp Atterbury received a new commander during a change of command ceremony here Sept. 12.

MUSCATATUCK, Ind. - Master Sgt. Bradley Staggs, an Indiana National Guard Soldier with the 38th Infantry Division, is a trained broadcast noncommissioned officer, and that is where his military and civilian careers have intertwined.

EDINBURGH, Ind. – Indiana National Guard soldiers from 38th Infantry Division attended a course for four days in August at Camp Atterbury’s medical simulation training center to engage in medical training exercises and certify as combat lifesavers.

Airmen from the 122nd have been conducting training and familiarization events along side our NATO ally, Slovakia. A complete flying package of eight A-10C Thunderbolt II “Warthog” aircraft from the 163rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron were deployed for the joint training exercise titled Slovak Warthog.

INDIANAPOLIS – It was a familiar scene.  A formation of troops before their commander, preparing to depart for one of the many deployments tasked to the Indiana National Guard. An American flag of epic proportions formed the backdrop of the ceremony in which soldiers of the 38th Infantry Division bid adieu to home, families and friends.

Fort Wayne Air National Guard Base, Ind. – The 122nd Fighter Wing, which flies the A-10 “Warthog” airframe, has deployed eight A-10 Thunderbolt IIs and approximately 140 Airmen in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve for a month-long combined training event, overseas, to Sliač Air Base, Slovakia.
