Publications
The Northern Review provides information on environmental and energy-related legislative and regulatory activities relevant to Army and DoD interests in the REEO-N area of responsibility: federal Regions 1, 2, 3 and 5. The Northern Review gives Army and DoD leaders and installation staff early warning of legislative and regulatory changes and assists installations in meeting ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements. The document also highlights professional development opportunities.

MISSION
The REEO mission is to fulfill responsibilities as DoD Regional Environmental Coordinators (RECs), engage with state legislators, Federal and state regulators, and nongovernmental organizations, on behalf of DoD and the Army to enable the conduct of activities on our installations required to build readiness to execute the Army's global mission. Conduct strategic communications for the purpose of promoting greater understanding of the Army's commitment to sustainable practices and energy security.
