How to Request Portal Access

**If you are an Army user, please try to access the Portal using your email cert before doing the following:
  • Sign and return the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
  • Take the DoD Information Assurance Awareness Training, then read the Army Addendum and pass the DoD IA Awareness Exam at: https://ia.signal.army.mil/
  • Supervisor or sponsor assists the user in completing and signing a DD Form 2875
  • Email the completed DD Form 2875, signed AUP and training certificate to US Army North IA Staff


How to Request Network Access

Accessing US Army North Resources

 

Personnel who intent to use Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)(i.e. laptops) from home station must have the following:

  1. Have a recent scanned report for the equipment (no older than 10 days).
  2. A Certificate to Connect Memorandum from appropriate IAM/IASO indicating IAVA and STIG compliance.
  3. POC and phone of home station Information Technology support staff.

NOTE: Personally owned equipment (i.e. non-GFE) will not be allowed on the US Army North network.

Network Access for LESS than 30 days:

Network Access for MORE than 30 days:

  • User must sign Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)ARNORTH AUP
  • Supervisor or sponsor assists the user with registration on the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) website: https://atc.us.army.mil/iastar/index.php
  • Use the ATCTS instruction sheet to assist with account creation and upload the signed AUP document as a *.pdf.
  • User must take DoD Information Assurance Awareness Training, read the Army Addendum and pass the DoD IA Awareness Exam at: https://ia.signal.army.mil/
  • Supervisor or sponsor assists the user in completing and signing a DD Form 2875
  • Email DD Form 2875 and signed AUP to U.S. Army North IA Staff
