Chief Warrant Officer 4 assumed responsibilities as the new senior warrant officer and advisor to The Adjutant General in 2016.

Jennings, a combat veteran, has served in the military for approximately 34 years and joined the Indiana National Guard in 1986 and became a warrant officer after serving in the U.S. Army and Indiana National Guard as an enlisted soldier for seven years. Jennings, a Detroit native, deployed to Kuwait in 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom serving with the 38th Sustainment Brigade as the petroleum supply officer in charge.

Jennings earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 2001 and a master’s in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007.

Since 2006, Jennings has helped train thousands of warrant officer candidates in leadership positions at Indiana’s Regional Training Institute serving as the commander; senior training, advising and counseling officer; and senior instructor.
