Association of Military Banks of America
The Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) is a not-for-profit corporation representing banking institutions specializing in providing banking services for military personnel and their families around the world. AMBA has a long history of partnering with the Department of Defense for the benefit of military members and their dependents. AMBA's membership includes large and small national and state chartered banks, many operating on a military installation. The AMBA member banks provide financial services to military members (including active duty, Reserve Component, and retired) and their families. AMBA member banks support military installations throughout the CONUS, Alaska, and Hawaii. The overseas banking program (Community Bank) is administered through a Defense Finance and Accounting Service contract, presently held by Bank of America Militar40y Bank (Overseas Division), an AMBA member. AMBA, as an ASEP partner, strongly encourages Army spouse employment by its member banking institutions and promote the benefits ASEP partnership to its members.
