Commanding General, 88th Regional Support Command
and
Senior Commander, Fort McCoy

Maj. Gen. Karen E. LeDoux assumed the position of Commanding General of the 88th Regional Support Command with headquarters at Fort McCoy, Wis., Feb. 9, 2013. LeDoux also serves as Senior Commander, Fort McCoy.

LeDoux has more than 30 years of service as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve.

LeDoux graduated from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo., where she received a Bachelor of General Arts. She also received a Reserve Officer Training Corps commission as an Ordnance Officer and entered active duty in 1983 as a second lieutenant.

She attended the Ordnance Officers Basic Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. Her initial assignment was as Executive Officer in Company B, 123rd Maintenance Battalion, 1st Armored Division in Germany. She also held the positions of Battalion Materiel Officer, Tracked Vehicle Maintenance Manager and Armament/Combat Vehicle Materiel Officer. In 1987, she attended the Ordnance Officer Advanced Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. In 1988, she joined the 5th Infantry Division (mechanized) at Fort Polk, La., where she was the commander and also held the position of Plans and Operations Officer. In 1990 she was assigned as a Training Officer at the Unit Training Division, Deputy Chief of Staff, Training, 83rd Army Reserve Command at Columbus, Ohio. In 1992, she joined the 1st Brigade, U.S. Army 2nd Region, U. S. Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Cadet Command at Columbus, Ohio, as Operations Officer.

LeDoux joined the Army Reserve in 1993. Her first assignment was with the 83rd Army Reserve Command, at Columbus, Ohio, where she held the position of Equal Opportunity Officer. She was the Plans Officer, Intelligence/Operations for the 917th Corps Support Group in Belton, Mo., from 1994 to 1995. She also held the position of Maintenance Management Officer from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, she served on active duty as a Logistics Operations Officer in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics, Headquarters, United States Army Europe in Germany. Upon her return to the United States, she served as Deputy Support Operations Officer for the 917th Corps Support Group. In 1998 she joined the 385th Transportation Battalion in Tacoma, Wash., where she served as Intelligence/Operations Officer. From 1999 to 2001 she held the position of Director of Personnel for the 647th Area Support Group in El Paso, Texas. From 2001 to 2002 she served as Deputy Commander at the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program Support Unit at Alexandria, Va.

She was mobilized in 2002 to serve as the commander in the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program Support Unit (Forward) in Arifjan, Kuwait. In 2003, she served as Commander of the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program Support Unit, Combined Force-7, in Iraq. Upon returning from Iraq she joined the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program at Alexandria, Va. From 2004 to 2005 she attended the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle, Pa. She held the position of Operations Officer in the Theater Support Command, Indianapolis, Ind., from 2005-2006 and in the 310th Sustainment Command, also located at Indianapolis, from 2006 to 2007.

Prior to her promotion as brigadier general she served as commander at the 55th Sustainment Brigade at Fort Belvoir, Va. She was assigned to her first brigade command in 2007 at the 103rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2009, LeDoux was assigned to command the 94th Training Division (Force Sustainment) at Fort Lee, Va.

From 2011 to 2012, LeDoux served as the Commanding General in the Army Materiel Command - Southwest Asia at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.

LeDoux's military education includes the Ordnance Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the U.S. Army War College and the CAPSTONE Course.

Her awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, a Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with Silver Oak Leaf Cluster, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Army Achievement Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters.

Col. Steven W. Nott assumed duties as Garrison Commander at Fort McCoy Feb. 29, 2012. Immediately prior to this assignment he served as the Military Executive for the Army Reserve Forces Policy Committee within the office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Washington D.C.

He earned a bachelor's degree in History from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville; a master's degree in Education from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa.; and a master's degree in Strategic Studies from the Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Pa. His military education includes Ranger School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, the Infantry Officer Advanced Course, and the Command and General Staff College.

Nott received his commission as an Infantry Officer in May 1986 and served one year in the Iowa National Guard. He entered active duty in April 1987 and served in Germany with the 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment. He next served on the 1st Brigade staff and then Commander of B Company, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment within the 10th Mountain Division. From 1995 to 1998 he was a Military Science Instructor at Lehigh University Military Science Department. Nott entered the Active Guard Reserve program in 1999 with the 98th Division (Institutional Training) in Rochester, N.Y. In 2003 he was assigned to the 99th Regional Readiness Command in Pittsburgh, Pa., as the Training Officer. In 2005 he was assigned to the 166th Aviation Brigade, Fort Riley, Kan., as the Brigade Executive Officer. From 2007 to 2009 he served as Commander, United States Army Garrison, Fort Devens, Mass. Nott became the Senior Operations Officer within the Office of the Chief Army Reserve Employer Partnership Office, Washington, D.C. in 2010.

Nott deployed to Operations Desert Shield/Storm in Iraq, Hurricane Andrew Relief in Florida, Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, and Operations Restore and Uphold Democracy in Haiti.

His awards and decorations include the Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal with seven Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal with Bronze Service Star, Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, United Nations Medal (Somalia), Kuwait Liberation Medals, Combat Infantry Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, the Valorous Unit Award, and the Army Staff Identification Badge.

Lt. Col. Rich Harvey assumed duties as Garrison Deputy Commander June 18, 2012. Immediately prior to this assignment he served in the Pentagon. He has served in the Army for 18 years, both in the active component and Active Guard Reserve program.

Command Sgt. Maj. William T. Bissonette Jr. assumed duties as Command Sergeant Major of U.S. Army Garrison, Fort McCoy, Wis., June 26, 2009. Immediately prior to this assignment he served as the command sergeant major of the 378th Military Intelligence Battalion (Battlefield Surveillance Brigade).

Bissonette, a native of Massena, N.Y., entered active duty March 16, 1982 and attended one-station unit training at Fort Benning, Ga., where he became an infantry anti-armor specialist.

His overseas assignments include the Republic of Korea, the U.S. Territory of Guam and the Republic of Iraq.

His stateside assignments include tours at Fort Campbell, Ky.; Fort Rucker, Ala.; Fort Bliss, Texas; the Pentagon; Fort McPherson, Ga.; and Fort Sheridan, Ill.

He has served in a variety of duty positions to include anti-armor specialist, machine gunner, weapons team leader, drill sergeant, recruiter, training and evaluation noncommissioned officer (NCO), unit training NCO, advanced NCO Course instructor, first sergeant, operations NCO, operations sergeant major, G7 sergeant major.

He has attended various military schools including the Air Assault School, Drill Sergeant School, Recruiting School, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Battle Focused Instructor Trainer Course, Emergency Preparedness Course, Force Integration Course, First Sergeant Course, Sergeants Major Course, Command Sergeants Major Course, and Garrison Command Sergeants Major Course. He holds an associate degree from Central Texas College.

His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Expert Infantry Badge, Air Assault Badge, Joint Staff Identification Badge, Army Staff Identification Badge, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, Basic Recruiter Badge with two Gold Stars, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, and the Army Superior Unit Award, as well as various campaign and service medals.

Mr. Albert R. Fournier currently serves as the Deputy to the Garrison Commander. In this capacity, Fournier is the primary advisor to the Commander on all matters involving installation management. He is responsible for directing and managing the garrison staff. Fournier has been a member of the Fort McCoy Command Group since 1984. Prior to assuming chief of staff responsibilities in 2002, Fournier served first as the garrison's civilian executive officer from 1984 to 2001.

Fournier has more than 36 years of experience in the field of Army installation management. He began his federal civil service career in 1971 at Fort McCoy. His previous assignments have included program responsibility for labor negotiations, strategic business planning, and management analysis. Fournier earned a bachelor of science degree in business management graduating summa cum laude.
