Fort McCoy has a long and proud history of being a world-class installation that strives to provide the very best for those who train, work, and live here. While you are here, make the most of your time by taking advantage of everything the installation and local area have to offer.

Above all, Fort McCoy's primary responsibility is to support the training and readiness of the Total Force — and we take that responsibility very seriously.

I encourage you to use all the resources available to you and to let us know how we can better support you.

Every one of us has a role in ensuring our military's ability to meet any and all global requirements in support of our Nation's strategic priorities.

Together we will achieve those roles to the fullest and will be ready for any possible contingency.

Army Strong,

PATRICK J. REINERT

Fort McCoy is an Army Community of Excellence for the Army and Army Reserve. It is an exciting installation where we challenge and train our nation's best to remain relevant and ready for any possible contingency.

Concurrently, we have preserved our rich history and support all service members and their Families who have served our great nation.

As the garrison commander of Fort McCoy, I invite you read through this guide in an effort to fully understand and experience the wide array of world-class training, simulation, support, and amenities offered at Fort McCoy and in the surrounding area during your visit.

Thanks to the efforts of the Soldiers, civilians, Family members, contractors, and members of the local communities, you will quickly find that there is a lot to do at Fort McCoy and the surrounding area year-round.
