Training at Fort McCoy
Fort McCoy Extranet Access
Military and civilian governmental personnel who wish to conduct business with Fort McCoy should access the Extranet. The Extranet is a restricted access site developed as a means to provide information to the Fort McCoy customer base.
Requirements to access this site include:
- Common Access Card (CAC) to sign-in
- CAC reader to authenticate your AKO CAC credentials
- Web browser capable of 128-bit encryption
NOTE: The Fort McCoy Extranet requires a CAC to sign in. AKO userid and password no longer accepted.

Range & Training Request Process
The Range Branch accepts requests from units for Ranges and Training Facilities (Belonging to Range Branch IAW Fort McCoy Reg 350-1 Range Operations) through the use of the Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS).
Units must be issued a user name/account. Before this can be completed, units must attend RFMSS training. Units should contact Fort McCoy Range Scheduling for RFMSS training dates and times.
Fort McCoy Range and Training Support Form 38 will continue to be accepted until units can establish RFMSS accounts, the Fort McCoy Range and Training Support Form (Fort McCoy Form 38) is available for download at the link below.
