Deadlines

Because the Belvoir Eagle is a weekly newspaper distributed each Thursday, we must adhere to several set deadlines to ensure that copy and photographs are received in a timely manner.

In general, information that is to be printed in the Belvoir Briefs should be received by the Eagle no later than noon Thursday a week prior to the desired date of publication. Other "articles" and photographs are due by close of business on Friday prior to the desired date of publication.

It is best to e-mail information if possible, followed by submission on disk. The least desirable method is via fax.

It is always best to alert the Eagle about upcoming events and activities as early as possible to ensure that coverage can be included as we plan our issues. We are always willing to work with groups and individuals to see what type of Eagle coverage is possible. Remember, our priority for coverage is activities and events that occur on Fort Belvoir.
