College juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are interested in a criminal justice career can apply for an internship with NCIS.
The NCIS internship is an unpaid, hands-on opportunity, designed to provide education-related work assignments for students.
The interns' background, experience and interests determine their assignment which can include work in the following departments:
- criminal investigations
- information systems
- government relations and public affairs
- computer crimes
- strategic planning
- personnel services and operations
- criminal intelligence
- forensic sciences
