New STM training courses for FY 2016:
STM 101, Introduction to Science and Technology Management. This is a new 4-hour distance learning course deployed on 6 Jan 2016. It replaces CLE 045 as a Level I certification training requirement. CLE 045 is retired but those who took it in FY15 up until its retirement date will be grandfathered to use the course for Level I certification application through FY17. Mr. Darren Rhyne of DAU Capital and Northeast Region is the course manager. There are four sections of up to 100 students each for this course, one section each for instructors in DAU Capital and Northeast Region, Midwest Region, South Region, and West Region.
STM 203, Intermediate Science and Technology Management. This 3.5-day classroom course is required for Level II certification. It replaced STM 202 as of 1 Oct 2015. It is basically the previous Level III STM 303 course with a few minor tweeks. Dr. Michelle Bailey of DAU Capital and Northeast Region is the course manager. Those who took STM 202 in FY15 are grandfathered to use it as the Level II certification requirement through FY17.
STM 304, Leadership in Science and Technology Management. This brand new 3.5-day classroom course is required for Level III certification, where it replaced STM 303 as of 1 Oct 2015. Mr. Jeff Craver of DAU South Region is the course manager. Those who took STM 303 in FY15 are grandfathered to use it as the Level II certification requirement through FY17.

Level I: ACQ 101, ENG 101, STM 101, and CLE 068.
Level II: ACQ 202, STM 203, and CLE 021.
Level III: STM 304, CLE 069, and CLM 014.

WSE 015, JCTD Execution (How to Run a JCTD), 2.5 classroom days.
WSE 016, JCTD Transition Management Workshop, 2.5 classroom days.
WSE 009, Design of Experiments - Industrial Strength (DOE-IS), 10 classroom days (5 classroom days for highly accelerated version).
