ATRRS Logon Assistance Center

New Content   YOU DO NOT NEED AN ATRRS LOGON ID TO TAKE ONLINE TRAINING. DO NOT APPLY FOR AN ATRRS LOGON ID, UNLESS YOU MEET THE CRITERIA REQUIRED TO HAVE ONE. Individuals that are attempting to complete online training (such as Army eLearning, AMMO, SSD, Correspondence Courses, etc) do not require an ATRRS Logon ID to take training. Please refer to the Student Self Service Center for information on how to register for or access this courseware. Individuals wishing to view their ATRRS Individual Training Record may do so through the ATRRS Self Development Center. A CAC card needs to be used to log onto the Student Training Center or Self Development Center.

If you have received one of the following error messages,
click the message for further information.

  1. Password Invalid

    You are receiving this message because the entry you have typed for ATRRS Password is invalid. Only one of the following will be valid:

    1. Your Current Password
    2. Your most recent expired password
    3. A temporary password requested through the USAITA Access Management office or through Logon Assistance / the USAITA self-service website

    If you do not know your password you will need to obtain a temporary password for one-time use in creating a new permanent password.

    To obtain a temporary password, you may contact the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA) Access Management team at 703-693-3625 to request one. Or, click “Continue” to be directed to the USAITA website where you may obtain a temporary password via self-service. (When prompted on the USAITA site for a username and password, enter your ATRRS logon ID for the username, and the word "ATRRS" for the password. You may have to re-enter "ATRRS" as the password up to three times before accessing the next page where you will be able to generate a temporary password. After entering your Last Name and SSN as required, click the Temp_password button. The temporary password issued to you on the USAITA site may immediately be used to log on to ATRRS Portals and create a new permanent password through the ATRRS Portals Renew Password link.)

  2. Forgot Password

    If you have forgotten your password, you will need to obtain a temporary password for one-time use in creating a new permanent password.

    To obtain a temporary password, click “Continue” to be directed to the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA) website where you may obtain a temporary password via self-service. (When prompted on the USAITA site for a username and password, enter your ATRRS logon ID for the username, and the word "ATRRS" for the password. You may have to re-enter "ATRRS" as the password up to three times before accessing the next page where you will be able to generate a temporary password. After entering your Last Name and SSN as required, click the Temp_password button. The temporary password issued to you on the USAITA site may immediately be used to log on to ATRRS Portals and create a new permanent password through the ATRRS Portals Renew Password link.)

    You may also contact the USAITA Access Management team at 703-693-3625 to request a temporary password by phone.

  3. Password Expired

    If you know your expired password, it can be used to create a new password. Click “Continue”, to proceed to the Renew Password page.

    If you have forgotten your expired password, click “Close” and then select the Logon Assistance option for "Forgot Password" where you may access a self-service solution for obtaining a new password

  4. Your Logon ID is Not Authorized to Use This Access Code

    An access code is a code that is assigned to each user to set up the permissions that they have on our website. Normally your Access Code Manager sets up your access code for you. This person is normally someone located in your higher headquarters.

    If you are unaware of who this individual is, please call the appropriate contact below, and they will set up an access code for you. In the meantime you may use the generic access code that all users have utilization of, "REVIEW". This access code will not allow you to make any changes within ATRRS, it will only allow you to simply VIEW the information.

  5. The Access Code Entered is Invalid

    An access code is a code that is assigned to each user to set up the permissions that they have on our website. Normally your Access Code Manager sets up your access code for you. This person is normally someone located in your higher headquarters.

  1. Forgot Logon ID

    YOU DO NOT NEED AN ATRRS LOGON ID TO TAKE ONLINE TRAINING. DO NOT APPLY FOR AN ATRRS LOGON ID, UNLESS YOU MEET THE CRITERIA REQUIRED TO HAVE ONE.

    If you do not know your ATRRS Logon ID you may email the ATRRS Help Desk () from your AKO ID so that we can look-up the appropriate Logon ID; or you may call the ATRRS Help Desk (703.695.2353).

  2. Password Violations / Logon ID Suspension

    If you are receiving the error "Logon disabled or restricted because of password violations", this means that the password for your ATRRS Logon ID has been entered three or more times incorrectly. If you are sure you do know your correct password, you may wish to simply have the password violations removed. If you do not know your password, you will need to obtain a temporary password for one-time use in creating a new permanent password.

    To have your password violations removed or to obtain a temporary password, click “Continue” to be directed to the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA) website where you may reset the password violations, or obtain a temporary password, via self-service. (When prompted on the USAITA site for a username and password, enter your ATRRS logon ID and password. If you do not know your password, enter the word "ATRRS" for the password. On the next page you will have the options to reset your password violations or generate a temporary password. After entering your Last Name and SSN as required, click the Reset_Violations or Temp_password button as applicable. Any temporary password issued to you on the USAITA site may immediately be used to log on to ATRRS Portals and create a new permanent password through the ATRRS Portals Renew Password link.)
