Provides answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding ATRRS.
Question:
Where can I find a list of codes used in ATRRS?
Answer:
Codes used in ATRRS are listed in the Verification Tables on the VRL display in ATRRS Portals. Additionally, clicking on the field names and column headers on Portals screens produces a pop-up window titled ATRRS Data Element Description.
If a Verification Table is available for that data element, a link is provided. Click on that link to see all of the relevant codes and the corresponding definitions without leaving the display that you are currently viewing. For example, if you are looking for a list of Reason Codes (RC) on the RS display, click on the RC column header. A definition is provided, along with the list of Reason Codes found in Verification Table 09.
Question:
Is ATRRS training available?
Answer:
The first and most readily available method for ATRRS Portals is to review the Portals Guide that provides users with instructions for navigation of the ATRRS Portals. To view the guide, please visit the ATRRS Homepage at https://www.atrrs.army.mil and click on the ATRRS PORTALS icon or link. Log into ATRRS and click the Portal Help link on the top of the page. When the Guide opens, use the Content or the Index (upper left-hand side) icons to locate specific information within the printable guide.
There is also a one day training course in Fairfax, Virginia that covers the basics of ATRRS. Although there is no cost to take the training, all travel expenses must be paid by either you or your organization. You may view the class schedules and availability on the R5 display in ATRRS Portals (FY 200x, SCH 914, CRS ATRRS-101).
