Access Ready Navy Emergency Preparedness Course - (Now hosted on Navy E-Learning)

Via TWMS (CAC ENABLED ONLY):

  • Begin by entering TWMS.
  • Click on "Online Training & Notices." (Left-hand column)
  • Click on "Available Training." (Next to Yellow Tabbed "Required Training and Notices")
  • Click on "READY NAVY EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS COURSE (CEU: 1)." (Listed alphabetically)
  • Launch Course.

 

Via Navy e-Learning (CAC ENABLED ONLY):

  • Begin by entering Navy e-Learning (NEL) at https://www.aas.prod.nel.training.navy.mil.
  • Click on "Course Catalog" tab.
  • Under Learning Category, select “CNIC, Commander, Navy Installations Command.”
  • A list of courses will populate the screen.
  • Enter the course number, CNIC-RNEP-0001, in the number field, then select the “Apply Filters” button to perform the search.
  • Click "Enroll" next to the course name.
  • Click "Continue" when asked "Would you like to add this course."
  • Click the "My Learning" tab at the top left.
  • Launch Course.

 

Access Active Shooter Training via Naval Education and Training (CAC Enabled ONLY):

  • Begin by entering Navy e-Learning (NEL) at https://www.aas.prod.nel.training.navy.mil/ 
  • Click on "Course Catalog" tab.
  • Under Learning Category, select “CNIC, Commander, Navy Installations Command.”
  • Select "CNIC Security and Force Protection."
  • Type Active Shooter in the Title. (search)
  • Click "Enroll" or "Add to Learning Plan" next to "Training and Readiness - The Active Shooter."
  • Click Continue when asked "Would you like to add this course."
  • Click the "My Learning" tab at the top left.
  • Launch Course.

 

Be Ready Navy—Be informed before, during, and after an incident; make a written family emergency plan; and build an emergency supply kit good for at least three days.
