The event is held on Maxwell AFB from 5 - 7 April 2013.  Classes will start bright and early Saturday morning and run until Sunday around noon.  Lodging will be available for all who need it here on Maxwell at the University Inn.  The price is very reasonable and will be on the web as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity to train the future leaders in the Wing and pass on all the wealth of knowledge to the next generation of CAPers!  On the other hand, this is a great opportunity to learn a lot about CAP and take your next steps in professional development.

If you are interested in attending or serving on staff, please register below.  Additionally, if you are interested in serving on staff, please shoot me an email at rousseaucj@gmail.com to discuss where you’d like to teach.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  I look forward to seeing you in class!

2013 Alabama Wing Conference

Hotel In Mobile, ALThe Alabama Wing Conference will be held March 15-16, 2013 in Mobile, Alabama.

We will have several updates in the morning with a presentation from NHQ on the "NOC and the Future Directions of CAP".  This should be a very informative update and give us insight into the new opportunities that CAP will provide to its members in the future. The afternoon will be packed with 12 sessions provided by the various departments of the ALWG including ES, Operations, Communications, CISM, Personnel, Cadets, PD, etc. There will be something for everyone. It will be worth the effort to attend.

We have special entertainment this year with lively music and dancing from the Wing Nuts. Several of our CAP members are in the band and they are a "hot item" around central Alabama. We will be providing more background on the group as we get closer to the conference but lets just go on record as saying, "They will bring the house down".  It is will fun and everyone will have a good time.

Hotel reservations can be made through the link below or by contacting the group housing coordinator, Robert Spencer directly at (251) 338-5382.
