418th Contracting Support Brigade, Fort Hood

Activated in July 2013, the 418th Contracting Support Brigade located at Fort Hood, Texas, enhances installation and operational contracting support to Army commands. Subordinate to the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, it provides core customer service through strategically aligned support to commands and installations. The 418th CSB is made up of more than 50 Soldiers assigned to 901st Contingency Contracting Battalion.

Among the major customers supported by the 418th CSB-Fort Hood are the Army Reserve Command and Army Test and Evaluation Command.

Mission:

The 418th Contracting Support Brigade plans and executes operational contract support for the U.S. Forces Command (III Corps), U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command. On order, provides worldwide contingency contracting support.
