Military Appreciation Weekend
Saturday through Monday, May 28th through 30th


We honor our nation's heroes Memorial Day weekend with Military Appreciation Weekend on Saturday, May 28th through Monday, May 30th. Active duty personnel, retirees and veterans will receive free admission to the Museum while their family will receive discounted admissions (military id or other documentation of service).

 

Texas Ranger Summer Camp - Friday, June 24th
Texas Ranger Summer Camp is Friday, June 24th from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Texas Top Guns will join the TRHFM to bring to life the 1800s. Campers will learn skills critical to surviving the Texas frontier, including: cattle branding, roping and rope making, cooking biscuits, and plant identification. Summer camp is open to students entering 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. $25.00 per camper. Registration opens April 18, 2016.  Contact TRHFM at (254) 750-8631 to register.

 

Texas Top Guns Day - Saturday, June 25th
On Saturday, June 25th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, the Texas Top Guns will display their camp and chuck wagon. Enjoy a cooking demonstration! Activities are included with Museum admission.
