The Information Assurance Section coordinates the computer security program for MCB and MCCDC. The section develops and monitors the computer security plan, conducts risk assessments and Security Test & Evaluation of information systems as part of the computer systems security certification and accreditation process. In addition, the section is the focal point for investigation and resolution of computer security violations and incidents. The section is responsible for providing Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) guidance and training to all users of computers onboard MCB Quantico.
