Additionally, we offer associate of science and bachelor of science degrees in interdisciplinary studies. These degrees are designed to serve active duty personnel and goal directed students whose educational needs are not met by one of the university's present majors.

CTC offers associate of applied science degrees in applied management, applied management with computer applications, business management, criminal justice, legal assistant/paralegal, information technology, business programmer analyst, restaurant and culinary management, and hotel management specialization. CTC offers associates of arts degrees in general studies and social science.

Here at the Harry S. Truman Education Center on Fort Sill, OU outreach offers the following programs to military personnel, civil service personnel and civilians: master of human relations, master of arts with an emphasis in international relations, master of arts with a major in economics, and a master of arts with a major in communication.
The degrees are non-thesis; instead there is a comprehensive exam towards the end of the degree. Classes are offered on a two-weekend format, and applications are taken continuously throughout the year. To be qualified for admission, student must possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; no GRE score is required for admission. Testing Services
Service members wishing to take Army personnel tests or Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education (DANTES) tests must first see the test control officer at the education center to verify eligibility and obtain a test referral. Testing is administered by appointment only, Monday through Thursday with priority to national test dates.GT Improvement
Take a test to assess your strengths and weaknesses.Subject to the availability of funds, on-duty BSEP classes are offered Mon-Thu, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Classes are open-entry and self-paced. See the BSEP coordinator for enrollment information.
Following successful completion of courses, take the GT predictor test. Scores of 100 of higher qualify to be scheduled for the Armed Forces Classification Test. Those scoring less than 100 will need to consult withthe BSEP coordinator for further advisement.
EDUCATION INFORMATION
Free evening classes for soldiers and adult family members are available through the Lawton Public Schools Center for Adult and Community Education.
Pre-GED and GED review and English as a Second Language (Beginning and Intermediate)
An adult high school degree completion program is offered for a nominal fee. Eligible soldiers must see a counselor at the Education Center, 3281 Sheridan Road, to receive 100% tuition assistance and enrollment information. Family members call 580-355-7727 for enrollment information.
Army ROTC turns college students into officers through a program that combines college courses in military science with summer training sessions. When the program is successfully completed and the student graduates, he or she can be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, or Army Reserve. Active duty soldiers may attend ROTC via the Chapter 16 program; transitioning soldiers may attend via the Green to Gold program or the scholarship program. Reserve components may apply under the Simultaneous Membership program (SMP). Eligible family members may also apply. Call the education center at 580-442-3201 to get the date and time of the next ROTC scholarship opportunities briefing.
The center offers computers with internet for all Active Duty, Reservists, retirees, adult family members and all DA Civilians Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
TUITION ASSISTANCE
Tuition assistance is available for eligible soldiers to cover post-secondary instruction required by the soldier’s school approved degree plan/student agreement. Currently, tuition assistance covers 100 percent of tuition costs up to $250 per semester hour, and all fees, with a maximum yearly amount capped at $4,500. In order to receive tuition assistance, soldiers must see a counselor at the Army Education Center prior to course enrollment.
