Capping off a night of resounding achievements, the awardees for the 9th annual Major Jonathan Letterman Medical Excellence Award were recognized during a ceremony held at Strong Mansion, Dickerson, Maryland, Oct. 6.

After more than 20 years in the field, Rigid Wall Shelters, an integral part of Army Field Hospitals, are starting to show their age.

"I don’t look at this [fellowship] in terms of what it can do for me, I look at it to see how my experience can help benefit the Warfighter," said U.S. Air Force Maj. Monika Lunn, Regulatory Affairs Fellow at the USAMMDA, Fort Detrick, Maryland.

In the course of their service, the men and women of our military forces often need quick solutions to critical problems they encounter on the battlefield.

It's that time of year to enjoy the great outdoors, which unfortunately means having to share all the fun with the pesky bugs that also come out.

Vaccination and preventive health serve a critically important role in the military.

Cost, schedule and performance are important considerations when developing medical solutions for the Warfighter.

Each of the five different project management offices at USAMMDA is made up of individuals carefully chosen to meet the specific needs of the mission. The leader of each team is the project manager.

The USAMMDA utilizes five different project management offices, each with its own project manager and product managers, in order to carry out its mission of delivering medical solutions to the Service Member.

If you are in the Army, there is a very good chance you have worked and lived in a tent.
