Long Description

You may think that this applies primarily to international programs -- and you would be wrong, Grasshopper.  Cultural intelligence is related to emotional intelligence (another topic in this forum) and is essential in any environment where we have a group of employees whose diversity may cause communications and understanding challenges.  This article explores Dr. David Livermore's four components of cultural intelligence: drive (wanting to learn); knowledge (how culture shapes behaviors); strategy (factoring culture into plans); and action (behaving in a culturally sensitive way).
