AU: Air University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097: Telephone number 404-679-4500 ) . Air University has been regionally accredited since 2004 .  In addition to regional accreditation, the Air War College Resident program is accredited for joint professional military education (JPME) phase II as defined for senior-level colleges in the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction (CJCSI) 1800.01, Officer Professional Military Education Policy.  Air Command and Staff College is accredited for JPME phase I for its Resident, Online Master’s and DL6.0 programs.
