The Search link is located on the page header of DAP pages just to the right of center. To search, enter words or phrases in the search input box, and press the Search button.
By default, providing multiple words will return documents matching any (not all) of the words. To search for a specific phrase, enclose it in quotes. For example, searching on "Field Manual" will return results that include that specific phrase versus returning results that have the words field and manual somewhere in the document.
For help in searching and understanding your search results go to the ACQuire Search Help page.
Selecting any of the "Filter by..." menu items provides the option to filter DAP content for the selected item and renders a new page that shows just those results tagged as being related to the selected organization..
You may search by going to the ACQuire page and selecting just the Ask A Professor Site option under Search Selected Sites.
DAP was designed for a 1024×768 screen display resolution. A higher screen resolution reduces the size of items on your screen and increases the size of your desktop. A lower screen resolution may result in the need to scroll to view the entire width of the site.

You need to install one or more certificates in your browser. A certificate is a digital document that identifies a web site as an official, trusted, and secure content provider. If your browser warns you that the DAP is untrusted or insecure, you probably need the DoD "Root CA Certificates". Go to DISA's DoD PKI System page and follow the directions for downloading and installing the Root CA (Certificate Authority) files. After you install these files and re-launch your browser, you should be able to open this portal without receiving any warnings.
