Posthumous Awards Process: Providing casualty with appropriate posthumous Federal and State awards


Description

If a Soldier dies and if eligible for an award, a posthumous award is given to the Soldier’s next of kin (NOK). Determination is made through Human Resource Command (HRC) records.
