This area will provide you with the information and training you will need in your first weeks on board as an NADP employee.
WHAT DO I DO FIRST?
All newly hired NADP employees must remain on an 8 hour schedule for the first pay period. After the first pay period has been processed, the host command/activity POC or supervisor/certifier may, at their discretion, change an employee's work schedule in the Standard Labor Data Collection and Distribution Application (SLDCADA).
- The process for receiving your Common Access Card (CAC) can take from two (2) to three (3) weeks. While you are waiting for your CAC, please take the time to become familiar with this website and review the following:
- Once you have received your CAC you will need to complete:
- Please check the NADP Bulletin Board daily. The Bulletin Board is the means by which NACC communicates information to our employees.
- Please visit the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and eDACM sections of our website for information regarding required career field courses.
HOW DO I START THE PROGRAM?
Please go to the Performance Plans section of our website for information for your Critical Elements that must be submitted within thirty (30) days of your Entry On Duty (EOD).
All employees are required to complete a Master Development Plan with your supervisor and/or CFM. The MDP is the baseline starting document for new employees and is the actual template for your plan. The MDP becomes your Individual Development Plan (IDP) when it is filled in and tailored to you. For entry level employees, this will often be referred to as your multi-paged IDP. The multi-paged IDP should be reviewed annually with your supervisor and/or CFM and should be kept on file at your local command. This document does not get submitted to the NACC.
Associates are to submit their IDP to their Assistant Career Manager (ACM) within forty-five (45) days of your EOD.
Entry level employees are required to complete an "IDP Summary" with your supervisor and/or CFM and submit it to your ACM within forty-five (45) days of your EOD. The IDP Summary is to be completed based upon the contents of the multi-paged IDP.
NOTE: Entry level employees are required to attend a NACC Training Symposium the next fiscal year after their start date (i.e., FY12 hires to attend the FY13 symposium).
