Proponent for Functional Area 57 Simulation Operations Officers (FA 57), Proponent for Career Program 36 Analysis, Modeling and Simulation Civilians (CP 36), manage Analysis, Modeling & Simulation Community of Practice; manage Army Modeling and Simulation School (AMSS). Develop, synchronize and promulgate Army M&S policy and strategy; develop and synchronize the Army’s M&S enterprise efforts across Army communities and commands; and coordinate Army M&S priorities and requirements with The Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Commands and organizations, Allies and other required organizations in support of Army priorities. The analysis and modeling of COCOM OPLANs and Out Year (OY) SSA scenarios.  These analyses include risk analysis of reduced force structure and reduced readiness on operational success in the theater warfights in OPLANs and scenarios. Provide support to Joint and Army commanders and staffs at Division level and higher with analysis and assistance in measuring the effectiveness of operations and activities to support the commander's decision-making process and strategic communications. Provide skilled analysts on-site to support forward stationed senior warfighting commanders and staffs.  Provide relevant, timely, credible analysis from CAA to Army and Joint commanders and staff that informs senior leader decision-making , operational planning and guidance.  Provide current operations support for deployed analysts: the tailored execution of the selection, training, and administrative support of deployed analysts to maximize effectiveness in specific theater assignments. Leveraging the capacity and capabilities of the Total Force to ensure that both the operational and generating forces are optimized and aligned to support Department of Defense (DoD) and Army strategic priorities, policies, and commitments.  Analyses performed to help ensure that: 1) the Total Force is manned, trained, organized, sustained, equipped, and employed to support Combatant Commander requirements as force packages tailored to achieve anticipated objectives; and 2) the Institutional Army is more effective and efficient in areas as diverse as acquisition processes, force design and stationing decisions. Analysis to quantify the demand for both apportioned and allocated Army units in Surge scenarios, and the Army’s capacity to source units to meet demands in multiple competing scenarios across a given timeline.  Incorporates: 
  - Force strategy to quantify scenario demands for apportioned forces. 
  - Campaign analysis to validate demands for apportioned forces, their capability to successfully prosecute campaign objectives, and quantify the resulting campaign outcomes. 
  - Enabler analysis to quantify scenario demands for allocated forces. 
  - Rotational analysis to quantify the Army’s capacity to source competing demands from an ARFORGEN construct.
