Last week DAU executed a soft launch of the Automated Requirements Roadmap Tool or ARRT. ARRT is a Better Buying Power initiative designed to help the acquisition community develop and define more effective requirements for services acquisitions. ARRT provides a structured approach for defining requirements and performance standards as well as how the results will be inspected. This process results in a draft of the Performance Work Statement(PWS)and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan(QASP). ARRT has been incorporated into ACQ 265 Mission Focused Services and the Service Acquisition Workshop. ARRT is available free of charge and can be accessed thru the SAM site or the Acquisition Community Connection. The attached PPT deck illustrates the path to access the tool. I encourage you to explore the ARRT tool as well as viewing the videos in SAM which provide an overview and instructions on how to use ARRT. This will be an effective tool to help our customers develop achieve the goals of the BBP program.
Please follow the instructions located here for downloading the tool.
