Welcome to the 428th Field Artillery Brigade, the "Cornerstone," (http://sill-www.army.mil/428thfa/) of the Field Artillery. The mission of the brigade is to train Soldiers, Marines, and Allies in Field Artillery core competencies in order to provide proficient integrators of lethal and no-lethal fires to the operational force. You have an important role to play in the accomplishment of our mission, and we're excited to have you join our team.
Our brigade, its leaders, and its Soldiers embody excellence and pride ourselves in being the cornerstone in technical proficiency, physical fitness, and leadership. We take in the idea that our efforts have a direct impact on the advancement of the Fires Force, and the advancement of the Fires Platform. The Field Artillery deserves the best, so we expect the best effort from every member of the 428th team.
