The Fort Knox Public Affairs Office (PAO) provides information about Fort Knox and the Army’s mission, vision, policies and operation. The PAO information program includes a Fort Knox newspaper, The Gold Standard; a television broadcast station, Channel 98, that appears on post and the local community, an installation guidebook and an installation-wide electronic mail announcement system.
News organizations interested in covering the mission and events at Fort Knox or filming on the installation must coordinate with the PAO to visit the installation.
Groups from the civilian community who want to tour the installation should coordinate their visits with the PAO. Requests for speakers, Soldier participation at community events, and display of military equipment should also come through the PAO.
