The National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research (NCDDR)
A pilot project designed to help the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) and funded researchers publicize the results of their projects and programs, many of which have a web presence. The NCDDR web site has a searchable list of these projects and programs.

Centers for Independent Living Independent Living
Centers are typically non-residential, private, non-profit, consumer-controlled, community-based organizations that provide services and advocacy by and for persons with all types of disabilities.

Communication Services for the Deaf 
Non-profit organization that provides deaf community services in 9 states.

Governors Committees 
These committees are the best places to go for general information regarding how each state administers its non-discrimination programs.

OSHA Consultation Service 
This free consultation service, which is largely funded by OSHA, can help employers identify potential hazards at their work-sites, improve their occupational safety and health management systems, and assist employers with qualifying for a one-year exemption from routine OSHA inspections.

Technical Assistance Projects 
State Technology Assistance Projects are funded under the Technology-related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Act and support consumer-driven state plans for the delivery of assistance technology.

Microsoft Accessibility Resource Centers 
A network of Microsoft Accessibility Resource Centers are located throughout the U.S. to show you how to use accessibility features and find the right assistive technology product. Centers can provide demonstrations and accessibility tutorials for Windows and you'll find accessibility experts to answer your questions.
