Congratulations on your assignment to Fort Knox!
One of the most important pre-move actions you can take is to request a sponsor. If you haven't already done so, please complete Sponsorship Program form DA Form 5434 
, digitally sign and e-mail it to usarmy.knox.imcom-hq.mbx.total-army-sponsorship@mail.mil.
You may also request youth sponsorship and information for your middle school and high school children. If you go on line to http://knox.armymwr.com then click on Child and Youth Services (CYSS). Click on School Support Services and you will find info about area schools or successful transitions. Click on Youth Sponsorship Guidebook and you will find everything you always wanted to know about the Fort Knox area from a youth perspective.
For additional resources to assist in your transition, go to http://knox.armymwr.com then click on the ACS tab. Click on Relocation Assistance Program located on the menu to the left, and view both local and Army-wide resources and links.
Out-Going Personnel
All Soldiers, except those going to Europe, SGM Academy, and Recruiting and Retention school are required to request a sponsor using the automated DA Form 5434 with digital signature prior to attending the reassignment briefing. If you have not electronically submitted a digitally signed 5434, please see your Unit S1 and/or Unit Sponsorship Coordinators/Program Managers. Soldiers should complete blocks 1, 2 and 5 of the DA FM 5434, to include digitally signing the form. One of the most important pre-move actions you can take is to request a sponsor. The Sponsorship Coordinator/Program Manager will complete block 4 and forward the digitally signed DA FM 5434 to usarmy.knox.imcom-hq.mbx.total-army-sponsorship@mail.mil.
Soldiers on Assignment to Europe must request a sponsor through EASI–GATE at http://www.eur.army.mil/EASIGATE/.
Soldiers attending the SGM Academy and Recruiting school will request sponsors during the course of their school.
Soldiers on Assignment Instructions are also required to complete the Total Army Sponsorship Survey and Electronic Sponsorship Training (eSAT) prior to out-processing.
