Statement of Service

 

Statement of Service - Non-Retiring Personnel  

The servicing Personnel Support Detachments and/or the Personnel Offices will issue statements of service for officer and enlisted personnel except those transferring to the Fleet Reserve.  Additionally, the servicing Personnel Support Detachments and/or the Personnel Office shall adjust the ADSD, as required and ensure the adjusted ADSD reflects in the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel Systems (NSIPS).    

    • The PEBD is the actual or constructive date of entry into service.
    • The ADSD is the actual or adjusted date from which the amount of active military service performed is calculated.  The ADSD reflects all periods of active federal military service in commissioned officer, warrant officer, or enlisted status.

 

Statement of Service - Retired Personnel Only 

The Officer Retirement Branch (PERS-835) prepares statements of service for regular USN and FTS officers when gained to active duty and upon retirement. 

The Fleet Reserve/Enlisted Retirement Branch (PERS-836) prepares statements of service for regular USN and FTS enlisted members retiring or transferring to the Fleet Reserve. 

The Reserve Officer Status Branch, PEBD Section (PERS-911) prepares statements of service for officers on inactive duty.
