MEDFORD, Ore. – Erik Markum, and
Jeff Roberson of Rogue Credit Union were presented with a Patriot Award April
12 by Rick McReynolds, Area Chair for the Oregon Employer Support of the Guard
and Reserve, in recognition of extraordinary support of his employees serving
in the Guard and Reserve.
Markum,
and Roberson were nominated by Army National Guard Sgt. Anthony Miller, a
teller at Rouge Credit Union, for their support of his military service which
included instituting a paid military leave policy.
“The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to
publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support. Rouge
Credit Union’s supervisors like Erik Markum and Jeff Roberson are examples of
supportive employers who are vital to the success of both our mission and the
defense of the nation.” said McReynolds.
