Brigadier General Michael D. Turello, Deputy Commanding General

Brigadier General Michael D. TruelloBrigadier General Michael D. Truello is the Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Special Operations Center of Excellence - Operations.
Brigadier General Turello received his commission in 1983 as an Infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps through the Platoon Leaders Course. Following tours with 3rd Marine Regiment and Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, he joined the Mississippi National Guard and the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in 1990.

Brigadier General William B. Mason III, Deputy Commanding General

Brigadier General William B. Mason IIIBrigadier General William B. Mason III is the Deputy Commanding Officer of the U.S. Army Special Operations Center of Excellence and Director, Institute for Military Support to Governance.
Brigadier General Mason served as the Chief of Civil Military Operations for Third Army/USARCENT and as a functional specialty team chief in the 352nd Civil Affairs Command at Fort Meade, Maryland. His most recent assignment was the Commander, 350th Civil Affairs Command, in Pensacola, Florida.

CW5 Robert W. Hart CW5 Robert W. Hart is the Command Chief Warrant Officer of the U.S. Army Special Operations Center of Excellence.
CW5 Robert Hart entered the U.S. Army in 1983 and after completing Initial Entry Training and Airborne School he served as a scout with the 1st Cavalry Division Long Range Surveillance Detachment, Fort Hood, Texas. In 1988 CW5 Hart attended the first Special Forces Selection Course and subsequently completed the Special Forces Qualification Course.

Command Sergeant Major David R. GibbsCommand Sgt. Maj. David Gibbs is currently serving as the 27th Command Sergeant Major of the United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, the Army Special Operation’s Center of Excellence.
Command Sgt. Maj. David Gibbs enlisted in the U.S. Army on Oct. 1, 1984. He attended One-Station Unit Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Command Sgt. Maj. Gibbs served in various elements as team sergeant, company sergeant major, battalion command sergeant major, and as a brigade-level command sergeant major.
