New IMCOM CG calls for deeds over words, introduces new mission, vision
Lt. Gen. David Halverson, Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management and commanding general of U.S. Army Installation Management Command, introduced IMCOM's new mission and vision and stressed the importance of trust and teamwork during his first town hall with IMCOM headquarters staff.
Halverson, who took command April 8, recognized employees, shared his thoughts on leadership and discussed IMCOM's mission and vision.

MWR Customer Satisfaction Survey set for release
The Department of Defense is set to release their latest survey to gauge customer satisfaction with Morale, Welfare and Recreation garrison facilities and programs. Like previous surveys in 2009 and 2011, this anonymous survey will be sent by the DoD to select Soldiers and service members who are invited to volunteer their opinions about current operations.

Retiree credits Army Intramurals for his success on the courts
"I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for the Army Sports Program," said retired Soldier now turned NCAA Men's Division I College Basketball Official, retired Sgt. 1st Class Donnie Eppley. Eppley began his officiating career in 1985, just four years after enlisting in the Army.

Soldier Show cast, crew prepare to 'Stand Strong'
The U.S. Army Installation Management Command has selected 19 cast and 2 crew to deliver the "Stand Strong" theme to garrisons starting April 11. Army Entertainment, a division of the U.S. Army Installation Management Command's, or IMCOM's G9 Family and MWR Programs, made the selections through a week-long process including live auditions, full military screening and fitness testing.

Winners in 2013 Army Digital Photo Contest Announced
The Army recognized the artistic eye of enlisted Soldiers, commissioned officers and civilians alike for their simple and true captures of garrison life around the world in the 2013 Army Digital Photography Contest. The U.S. Army Installation Management Command awarded recognition and prizes to contestants for their photo entries in categories such as Animals, Design Elements, Digital Darkroom, Military Life, Nature/Landscapes, People and Still Life.
