MOBILIZATION ORDER WRITING

PERS-461 creates and generates mobilization and Presidential Reserve Call Up (PRC) orders for reservists who are mobilized as an Individual Augmentee (IA) or mobilized as part of an established commissioned unit.  PERS-461 also issues demobilization orders and associated modifications, including extensions and cancellations of orders in coordination with USFLTFORCOM, COMNAVRESFORCOM and supported commands.  PERS-461 also provides customer service support to mobilized reservists via the Mobilization Sailor Advocacy team.

MOBILIZATION SAILOR ADVOCACY (MSA)

Mobilization Sailor Advocacy (MSA) provides customer service assistance to mobilized reservists with hardship issues, such as problems incurred as a result of early demobilization.  If necessary, MSA forwards issues up the chain-of-command for resolution.

The MSA team is available to assist a reservist mobilized for Operations Enduring Freedom/Noble Eagle.  The MSA team is available during the following times:

•  Monday – Friday:    0730 – 1630 (Central Standard Time)
•  Toll-Free:                (866) 827-5672
•  Fax:                         (901) 874-4683 (DSN 882)
•  E-Mail:                     NESA from PERS 4G1/MSA Website

Due to heavy call volume at times, the MSA team may not be able to immediately answer your call.  However, we encourage you to please listen carefully to the recorded message and leave a detailed message including a good contact number and best time to call so that we may expeditiously return your call.  The best way to reach a MSA team member during working hours is by dialing the toll-free number.
