WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES ARMY

Congratulations and welcome! We are excited to have you on the team. You are now a member of the Army Civilian Corps which is part of the Army Profession. It is founded on the ideas and values that framed the birth of our Nation as expressed by the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.

By now you’ve already accepted your offer and may be familiar with what to expect in your new role with the Army. You may have even begun working your way through some of the acculturation onboarding materials leading up to your first day on the job.

Wherever you are in your pre-employment process, the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC), your new supervisor and sponsor is here to make your transition as easy and enjoyable as possible. Once you have accepted your job offer, your supervisor will send you a welcome email and provide you with your sponsor’s contact email and phone number. You are encouraged to contact your sponsor to make your transition as smooth as possible.

Newcomers Orientation

IMCOMs Newcomers Orientation will be held the last Tuesday of each month, followed by the Staff Officers Orientation Course (SOOC), and Customer Service. Please contact G-1, Workforce Development Office during your in processing to schedule your attendance.
