Welcome! Arizona Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (AZESGR) is a Department of Defense office dedicated to promoting a culture in which all American employers support and value the military service of their employees who also serve in the National Guard and Reserve. 

AZ ESGR is led and operated by a staff of 63 volunteers and four full time staff working throughout the Grand Canyon State to gain and maintain employer support for the Guard and Reserve by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the Uniformed Services Employment Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), resolving conflicts through mediation, and connecting military service members and veterans with employment resources. 

The AZ ESGR committee strives to uphold the “We all Serve” motto by creating and maintaining relationships with Arizona employers and service members through programs such as Military Outreach, Employer Outreach, Mediation, and Employment programs. Our mission is to assist both employers and reserve component members equally.
