We serve the Soldier, the Veteran, and their families test
in a courteous and timely manner;
we decide their cases on behalf of the Secretary of the Army
with justice, equity, and compassion, and in the public interest;
and we present our decisions in clear and concise responses.

Overview

The Army Review Boards Agency, on behalf of the Secretary of the Army, serves as the highest administrative level for review of personnel actions taken by lower levels of the Army and administers 14 boards, and provides policy oversight of the Army Corrections System (Army prison system) and law enforcement. The Agency headquarters is located in Arlington, Virginia. The Agency is authorized a staff of 136 personnel comprised of civilians (many of whom have served in the military) and military. Over 22,000 applications are processed annually.
