Admission & Disposition

Admission and Disposition Office is located on the 1st floor (main building of hospital, flagpole entrance) in Room 115-4. A&D office is open 24 hours/7 days a week. Within A&D, we receive, interview and determine eligibility for admission to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC); gather demographic data for entry into the Composite Health Care System (CHCS); process admissions, inter-ward transfers and dispositions on all patients within SAMMC; verifies patients' insurance information for the Third Party Collection Program; operates five automated systems to enter, retrieve, and correct and update data.
