Welcome Letter

Dear Sentinel,

Welcome to the 528th Sustainment Brigade (Special Operations) (Airborne)!  You will be joining our highly trained team of Airborne professionals who are dedicated to ensuring our Army Special Operations Forces receive the absolute best logistics, medical, and signal support the Army has to offer.  Prior to your arrival, you will need to be assigned a Sponsor.  Information on the unit sponsorship program can be found at this link: 528th Sustainment Brigade Sponsorship Program. We look forward to your arrival.  It is our intent to make your transition as smooth as possible.

Your experience, functional expertise, and professionalism are in demand and will be a welcome addition to our team.  The nature of our operation requires us to display a level of commitment, maturity, and teamwork above the requirement of a conventional unit.  You are expected to arrive at a level of fitness that allows you to meet Army fitness and weight standards.  Further, you’ll be expected to arrive with a security clearance or an open investigation.

Additionally, there are some required reading and training that you should complete prior to your arrival, and can be found at this link: 528th SUS BDE (SO) (A) Reading and Training List.

On your arrival if you should have any questions or concerns with the unit or Fort Bragg area, please don't hesitate to contact the Brigade S1/NCOIC at (910) 432-9798/DSN: 312-239-9798 or email at 528th.SUSBDE.S1@soc.mil.  If you have Family joining you on your tour, please contact the Family Readiness Support Assistant (FRSA) Coordinator.  She may be reached at (910) 396-0164 / DSN (312) 239-0164.

Communication is a key element during your reassignment process and we are committed to providing any assistance that you may require before and during your transition period.  The FRSA staff is prepared to welcome your Family and to provide the resources necessary to be a self-reliant and resilient member of the Army Family.

We are confident that you will find this assignment professionally challenging and personally rewarding.  We extend our best wishes to you and the Family during your transition and look forward to meeting you upon your arrival.

"Support to the Utmost"
