To conserve the fighting strength in the realm of vascular diseases and injuries by providing state of the art diagnostic capabilities and medical and surgical treatment for conditions involving the arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels. To provide full outpatient and inpatient diagnosis and treatment for all eligible beneficiaries in the realm of vascular surgery.

Maintain state of the art vascular laboratory to efficiently and effectively diagnose vascular disorders. Provide training of surgical residents in the field of vascular surgery with particular emphasis on battlefield injuries and wartime scenarios.

Provide comprehensive extremity wound care to manage difficult extremity wounds that have a significant vascular component. Expanding endovascular treatment of vascular diseases in conjunction with Department of Radiology and to continue research in the treatment of vascular diseases, in particular as it pertains to battlefield scenarios.
