SFL-TAP is the Army’s transition program. The program is completed by all Soldiers with at least 180 days of continuous active duty service. SFL-TAP educates clients on resume writing, financial planning, VA benefits, job application preparation, military skills translation, and more.

Some eligible transitioning Service members from other branches and their Family members have access to SFL-TAP throughout their transition. Eligible Retirees from other Service branches can access SFL-TAP resources on a space-available basis up to 180 days following their separation date.

Veterans, who are not military retirees, and their Family members can access SFL-TAP services up to 180 days after the Soldier’s separation date.
