Provide a way to remove GROUPS from my Flickr Feed
The new Flickr Feed page is TERRIBLE. I don't want to keep up the random posts to a ton of groups. I do want to keep up with a very SELECT group of PEOPLE I follow--there's a big difference between the two. The developers can go off on their merry tangents, just give us a way to arrange things the way WE like. Seem's fair enough to me!

Please stop with putting "recommended" photos from random people in my feed. I only want to see my friends and family not the whole world!!!
Please do not put "recommended" photos in my feed. It is annoying!!! Please stop! You didn't even ask if we wanted this!

The new format of Flickr is ATROCIOUS !!
The new release (October 2016) is a complete DISASTER !!!!
There are far too many large photos of a single member on the main page, whereas previously there was summary information showing thumb-nails of a number of members, which was relatively quick to review, and access if desired. The new presentation is AWFUL !!!
The "Group" functions have been redesigned in a similar way, and are now virtually unusable !!
Another VERY irritating feature is the inclusion of "Recommended" photos. How on earth can you read my mind and decide what to "Recommend" to me?

Create a Group Founder Category For All Groups
This has been brought up, discussed, and requested repeatedly over the last decade, yet Flickr has done absolutely nothing to fix the situation and address the issues with rogue administrators that at some point just take over a group and will not cooperate with any of the other admins who are trying to keep the group on track with its intended purpose!
As a group founder you may or may not have experienced this issue as of yet, but if you have granted admin privileges or intend to grant admin privileges to any member of your group, be forewarned that…

Present great Flickr Groups in the Weekly Flickr
There are some awesome groups in Flickr that do more than just collecting photographs. It would be great to present some of these groups in the Weekly Flickr blog.
I'm part of the admin team of Flickr's 100 Best (https://flic.kr/g/dhB69L). It is the Hunger Game of Flickr and has a limited pool of 100 awesome photographs of all kind. Over 10'000 members challenge the actual pool photographs to get theirs in. Our group is highly active with over 50 challenges a month.
Besides the fun aspect, members get a serious and constructive critique in our group and fantastic…10th ranked -

Prettier does not mean better. The usability of your new style website is terrible.
Going to summarize this in point form.
1) To use the comments feature on a picture you have to scroll down the page to enter your comment in the popup window, and then scroll back up and close it.2) Clicking on a photo use to take you to a person's photo stream where you could manipulate the photo easier and view other photos by the author more readily. Now it's this lightbox thing, and you have to click the photo again to get to the better viewing tools.
3) The site is overall less usable. Things which you should…

Photo travel planning
Hi Flickr Team! This is an idea how to improve the Flickr service and to create value add for people / photographers planning a photo trip: In addition to text comments and faves there should be another button which adds selected geo tagged images automatically to a map ( e.g. from Here) . After having finished adding several images to this background map the result is a gpx trail with all the individual selected images in addition. So it will be easy to plan a furture trip to the same locations other FLickr users have been before. Such a feature…

Why on earth have you decided to change the display format yet again?
Stop changing the format of the display!! I'm sure you must employ people just to come up with ideas like this to justify their existence. I see no indication as to how this can be deemed an "improvement". Please can we have at least an option to revert to the old "experience"?

NEED Google Maps
Switch to Google Maps on flickr.com
The photo info screen of the mobile app displays geotagged location in Google Maps.
It's infuriating that the mapping/location page of the website is not powered by Google Maps. The current mapping system is very limiting and embarrassingly inferior. Please consider upgrading to Google Maps!
Thank you.

Get rid of the two column display
Get rid of the two column display for logged in users. It is distracting, makes navigating recent activity harder, and makes using Flickr an unpleasant experience. The "old" display was fine.

elevate "Collections" to full tab status, right next to Creations tab
Flickr Collections is an IMMENSELY valuable feature... Allows photogs to build collections of interest, and continuously add new project albums to the various collections.... The ultimately creates a powerfully interesting portfolio. I always provide my audience a Direct Link to my Collections page! I am sure it is frustrating for new visitors to find their way back to the Collections! It only appears in one drop-down menu --- AND it NEEDS to be a PROMINENT TAB

Please add an “empty cache” to the Flickr iOS app
The Flickr iOS app can easily cache hundreds of megabytes on the iPhone. Please give users the ability to clear the cache in the settings.

Unfollow
There has to be a way to unfollow a huge bulk of people at once. I've had my account since early 2000's in my teens and have followed many random accounts. My tastes are different now and I'd like to refine my follow list without having to individually unfollow some people one by one as I go down the list. It is exhausting and bad User Experience.

Log In Using Flickr Username Only
I think it would be lovely if we could log in to our Flickr accounts by putting in our username and password only. No email is required, because sometimes people forget which email they put down, but people tend to remember their usernames. Nobody can have the same username as anyone else, so why not make life easier for everybody? Yeah? I'm down with it, at least (:
(please do this. please.)
