This is the official Flickr site of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District. Established in 1884, Jacksonville District is the second largest civil works district in the nation, with an area of responsibility that encompases the state of Florida and the Caribbean. We are one of 41 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers districts and one of five in the South Atlantic Division. The Corps provides quality planning, engineering, construction and operations products and services to meet the needs of the Armed Forces and the nation.
