      Master Chief Scott was born, raised, and graduated high school in the Philippines. After immigrating to the United States, she worked for an international maritime shipping company in Los Angeles, California and attained U.S. citizenship. From there she enlisted in the Navy in August 1987 and following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, and Seaman Apprenticeship Training in Orlando, Florida, she reported to her first command at Port Services, Los Angeles, California. 

      Master Chief Scott’s fleet assignments include USS DIXON (AS 37) as a Financial Storekeeper and decommissioning crew from 1993-1995, Pre-commission of USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD 6) from 1998-2002 where she was promoted to both Chief and Senior Chief Petty Officer, and USS TARAWA (LHA 1) where she served as Supply Department LCPO, S-8 Division Officer, and interim Command Master Chief through decommissioning from 2005-2009.  She served Strike Fighter Two One One (VFA-211) as Command Master Chief from 2009-2012 and deployed with USS Enterprise (CVN-65), and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO THREE (HSC 23) from 2012-2014.

Her shore assignments consist of Transient Personnel Unit (TPU) as a Storekeeper and Brig Chaser from 1990-1991, Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA) as Financial Storekeeper from 1991-1993, and Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) as Supply Departmental LCPO from 2002-2005 where she was promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer.   

Master Chief Scott is a graduate from the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 147 Gray, and CMC/COB Class 63 and currently serves as Command Master Chief for Carrier Air Wing THREE (CVW 3). 

Master Chief Scott is Surface and Aviation Warfare qualified on several hulls and squadrons. Her personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (5 awards) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards) along with various unit and campaign awards. 

The chronicles of her career are trifling in contrast to where her ambitions are headed.  Master Chief Scott has balanced an extraordinary Navy career with off-duty education (Associate Degree from Vincennes University) and raising a family of four children: Cheryl, David, Violet and Lilah.
