Today’s advancement in technology is moving at the speed of light. The Navy wants to keep in step with the technology that today’s Sailors have at their disposal and utilizing to make their lives easier and access to information literally at their fingertips. To make information readily available, U. S. Fleet Forces developed mobile applications to provide the latest information and resources for U.S. Navy Individual Augmentee (IA) Sailors, Families, Commands, and Civilian Employers to support them throughout the IA process. The entire content of the Navy IA website (www.ia.navy.mil) can be taken with them on deployments without the need for an internet connection. These tools are additional components of the U.S. Fleet Forces Command overarching Navy IA Communication Strategy/Plan.

As the Navy’s first official mobile application, the Navy IA iPhone/iPod Touch app provides with the information they need before, during and after their deployment. Click here to download the Navy IA iPhone app (requires Apple's iTunes software on your computer and iPhone OS 3.0 or later).

With the emergence and popularity of additional software applications and the second phase of our mobile application development, we created the Navy IA Android app to provide for the second platform for IA Sailors. The app can be found in the Android Market by searching on 'Navy IA'

Navy News Service: USFF Launches 2nd IA Smartphone App

The Navy IA BlackBerry App is now available for download from BlackBerry App World. The app requires a Media/SD card and BlackBerry OS Device Software 5.0 or higher.
