DARPA’s Information Innovation Office (I2O) will host a Proposers Day conference to provide information to potential proposers on the objectives of the anticipated Modeling Adversarial Activity (MAA) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The Proposers Day will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (ET) at the Hilton Arlington, located at 950 North Stafford Street, Arlington, VA. The purpose of this conference is to provide information on the MAA program, promote relevant discussion, and address questions from potential proposers.
The goal of MAA is to develop mathematical and computational techniques for modeling adversarial activity in order to facilitate production of high-confidence indications and warnings of efforts to acquire, fabricate, proliferate, and/or deploy weapons of mass terror (MWT). The Proposers Day will include overview presentations about MAA by DARPA personnel. Following the Proposers Day, DARPA anticipates posting additional information regarding the MAA program (e.g., DARPA materials presented at the Proposers Day and a Frequently Asked Questions document) to http://www.darpa.mil/work-with-us/opportunities.
DARPA hosts Proposers Days to promote teaming arrangements between researchers; provide potential performers with information on whether and how they might respond to the Government’s research and development solicitations; and to increase efficiency in proposal preparation and evaluation. Therefore, Proposers Days are open only to registered potential proposers.
Participants must register no later than 5:00 PM (ET), Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the following website:
